- Romelu Lukaku appears to have fallen out of favour with Inter Milan and its most devoted fans
- Inter stated they would not be pursuing the striker permanently after his loan spell last season
- The club’s ultras, known as 'Curva Nord', have now given Lukaku a brutal message of their own
Romelu Lukaku's future is up in the air as Inter Milan's most hardcore fans made their feelings clear about the striker with a scathing statement.
The 30-year-old spent last season with the Nerazzuri, helping them win the Coppa Italia but falling short of the Scudetto, which was won by Napoli.
The former Manchester United striker's season was largely plagued by injuries, which limited him to just 10 goals across the entire campaign.
Despite falling off last season, Inter Milan were willing to consider signing the big Belgian loanee on a permanent basis from Chelsea.
However, all that changed after they learned Lukaku was entertaining the thought of joining Juventus, with secret talks taking place, according to Football London.
Inter Milan's Sporting Director, Piero Ausilio, was reportedly candid with the striker on Friday as he informed him about the change of plans.
Days later, the club's ultras - known as Curva Nord - have made their feelings about Lukaku known through a vicious statement.
Inter Milan ultras blast Lukaku
A statement from Curva Nord, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano, was translated as follows:
"[May we] never see each other again, Lukaku. You have betrayed all of us. We always defended you in difficult moments, now you give us a stab. You are selling yourself to the highest bidder after kissing our badge. You’re not a real man."
Unfortunately for the Belgian striker, new Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, did not include him in the team’s 29-man squad heading out on the pre-season.

Juventus fans protest against Lukaku
Sports Brief also reported on Juventus fans' savage chants about Lukaku to add to the striker’s woes, after a mini protest in front of the club's medical facilities against signing the former Man United striker.
Inter Milan have reportedly identified Arsenal's Folarin Balogun as an option but would have to part ways with about £50 million if they want to sign the American striker, who impressed while on loan at Reims.
